Not an entirely accurate statement. Some had involvement. Yes.
Many did not and acted against.
The genocide was ordered by the Young Turks.

I guess you're missed in your study of the Ottoman Armenian genocide all that has been written about 1) the Kurdish battalions (Hamidies) organized and controlled by the sultans specially for the purpose 2) the recent Kurdish public recognition of the significant role they played in that genocide.
Which makes my statement true - even if all Kurds didn't participate, even if the orders came from Young Turks, Pashas or the Sultan himself, and even if those Kurdish paramilitary battalions operated in conjunction with the Ottoman military.

To what extent was he instrumental in the massacres?
I suspect they’re obscuring it.
