the islamic conquest of Europe is proceeding quite nicely. The europeans are like the proverbial frog and the fire is being turned up ever so gradually.
Back in the 80s I took a master’s level course on Islamic History. I remember looking at maps of Islamic incursions into the periphery of Europe, into Spain, the gates of Venice, etc. and of course the thought at the time was how they had ultimately been repelled. Albania was, at the time, something of a curiosity, “the only muslim nation in Europe,” and a vestige of the Ottoman era. Perhaps, if the west does survive, hundreds of years from now, some kid will be looking at a map of the Islamic invasion of the early 21st century and which nations were absorbed into the new caliphate.
Even back in the 80s, there were a few voices crying out, but in the shadow of the cold war, the prevailing concerns were NATO v. Warsaw Pact, not the resurgence of mohammedism.
