Former Tory Prime Minister Sir Edward Heath has been accused of rape by an alleged victim, who was 12 years old at the time of the claimed assault. A police inquiry was opened on Monday urging others to come forward.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) launched an inquiry into the alleged cover-up of a criminal investigation after a suspect threatened to expose Heath as a child abuser.
Heath served as a Conservative PM from 1970 to 1974. He died in 2005 at the age of 89. He is the most high profile figure to be accused of historic child sex abuse to date.
The victim, who says he was 12 when the former PM raped him, said he had been abused throughout his childhood by his father and other pedophile connections, including Heath.

What is it with the world government
He is being accused post-humously? He can’t defend himself.
Could this be a slur campaign against the Tory’s?
a two year old story regarding a man who died 12 years ago? Why was this not posted on breaking News?
Heath is dead and can’t defend himself. This is in Russia Today. While there were rumors that Heath was gay throughout his life, this is the first time these allegations are coming up. I’d take them with a huge grain of salt.
lol
Of all the recent British PMs, I certainly thought at the time that Heath was one of the better ones.
It does seem like there was some really high up pedo organization in England. More proof for longer time than here, but pizzagate has a lot of circumstantial stuff now. Probably been going on in both places for a long time.
This is a smear attack by the loony left wing media, Ted Heath was a useless Prime Minister but he never did this.
If a commie had actually done this it would have been praised as daring and multicultural.

This garbage has been going around for a while.
Maybe Heath's publicist started it all in an effort to make him more interesting.
Meh Heath is long dead.
I believe that he is the same “Mr. Heath” referenced in George Harrison’s “Taxman”.
