That cemetery is located in what would be considered a black part of town. There are other cemeteries and neighborhoods that are far more prominent for their Jewish population, Olivette, for example.
If the vandalism had happened in a more commonly known Jewish community, rather than the Hood, I might have formed a different opinion.
