Before we jump on the Sheriff, my understanding is that he told ICE to come get them several times and ICE did not respond.
If there are that many, why doesn't ICE setup a temporary trailer right outside the jail and have someone there at all times. It would not be hard to quickly round up 200+ a week which is probably more than the average officer could round up in the same time.
