I was just reminded of my aunt who always fixed cherry pies for her 10 children, on Washington’s Birthday, and she NEVER pitted the cherries.
The kids knew, but any guests....
Interesting. She should have had those 10 kids taking the pits out of the cherries, it sounds like. I love cherry pie.
