Would Congresscritter Clay feel the same way about a painting with a depiction of a black person eating a watermelon?...........

(If "Majority Rule" was so important in South Africa, why isn't it that way here?.......)

Said Congresscritter would probably be the first to cry “racism” and demand it be removed.

If he thought it would get him votes, yes.
He represents Ferguson so this racist anti-cop garbage means votes for him. Fortunately, this nonsense hurts dims nationally.

Exactly.
My brother-in-law is an artist; if he were to submit a painting that depicted blacks as a bunch of hooting chimps then he has no right to complain — given their behavior as of late, that would be a fair and accurate depiction thereof.

There should be a painting of HIM with a chimpanzee head. Free speech.
