doubters will claim a ship went down or that that area was used as a burial at sea site
Make a move against God’s chosen,have a bad day.
Snopes? Why?
This story has circulated on the internet for several years. It pops up on FR every now and then...........
“Egypt’s Antiquities Ministry announced this morning “
Amazing how many times this is ‘announced this morning’ ...
This was a comment on the article:
Sandy White and others. As a Christ follower, I was excited the first time I read this several years ago. However, I have subsequently found that the source, World News Daily Report is a fake news site. Their site even posts a disclaimer that their articles are satirical and fictitious. I don’t question scripture, but I do question this story. Why is it that the only place this story appears is on the internet? If there was any validity to it, National Geographic and other sources would be all over this.
But the fact that the lefties weirdos at Snopes don’t believe it is hardly authoritative.
Much controversy over where the crossing took place...”Red Sea” in Hebrew is actually “Sea of Reeds,” not a specific geographic location. Archaeologist David Rohl says the Balla Lakes, a series of shallow lakes that is no longer there, is most likely according to Biblical narrative (Rohl is responsible for redating the Exodus in the 1400s BC, 500 years before Ramses). Nuweiba crossing theory places it on other side of Sinai Peninsula. Hard evidence is hard to dispute.
Snopes?
LOL
Patterns of Evidence: The Exodus - Full Trailer
Fantastic documentary... I saw it on Netflix.
“doubters will claim a ship went down or that that area was used as a burial at sea site”
This story was verified as fake news in .... 2014.
As a Christian and firm believer in God and the Bible, I still struggle with some of the history. I can reconcile that the creation was in God days, not 24 hour days as we think of them today (sorry, too much evidence against a 6000 year old Earth, and that’s God’s evidence). The “miracles” are harder to grasp. I guess I would like to think that God’s miracles still confirm to God’s physical laws of the universe so that some physical explanation can be found. The parting of the Red Sea is still in the miracle category.
World News Daily?
ROTFLMAO!
Darn. I thought it was true. Bummed.
Snopes?
I didn’t defend the article.
Sorry you didn’t have the tools to grasp that.
“But the fact that the lefties weirdos at Snopes dont believe it is hardly authoritative.”
Not just Snopes. World News Daily Report was NOT a news site. It was a satire site.
There is NO credible news source for this FAKE NEWS.
