I actually agree with Milo’s statement, technically speaking.
It is pedophilia when the attraction is to pre-pubescent people. That violates our society’s “norms”, which are just a cultural thing. I’ve felt for a long time that criminals should be tried as adults once they reach the age of around 12.
The Christian Bible is silent (to the best of my knowledge) on when one becomes a “woman” or “man”. I believe Jewish law does draw a line at something around 12, but I could be wrong.
If the statement you quoted is what all the fuss is about, regarding Milo, I retract my condemnation of him.
And to be really clear, I’m talking “technically”. Personally, I was divorced at 43 and when I tried to date a 27 year old I felt like I was dating a kid. I ended up marrying the woman of my dreams 19 years ago. She’s six days younger than me.

What I actually MEANT was, “It is pedophilia when the attraction is to pre-pubescent people. Being attracted to post pubescent people between that age and, say 16-18 year olds violates our society’s “norms”, which are just a cultural thing.”
