John McCain is criticizing President Donald Trump's immigration ban, statements on torture, and attacks on the press while also pledging to investigate any possible ties the commander-in-chief and his administration may have to Russia and Vladmir Putin.
In an interview with New York Magazine, Senator McCain reveals that after President Trump defeated Hillary Clinton back in November he was fully prepared to back his fellow party member, despite the pair's contentious relationship in the past.
However he quickly found himself at odds with the billionaire businessman.
The 80-year-old war hero saves his harshest words however for Russia and leader Vladmir Putin, and says that their decision to hack the recent election was a greater threat to the United States than any recent terror attack.
'The severity of this issue, the gravity of it, is so consequential because if you succeed in corrupting an election, then youve destroyed the foundation of democracy,' says McCain of the hacking.
'So I view it with the utmost seriousness. I view it more seriously than a physical attack. I view it more seriously than Orlando, or San Bernardino.'
He then added: 'As tragic as that was, the far-reaching consequences of an election hack are certainly far in excess of a single terrorist attack.'
Senator McCain later explains that this is why the United States must confront Russia, and why the Senate must put together a bipartisan select committee to probe President Trump's possible involvement with any members of the foreign government or their leader.

John McCain is really f-ed up. I wish foreign media outlets would stop taking him seriously; the American public certainly has.
The MSM loves him and closet case Graham because they can go to “Republican opposition to President Trump intensified...” stories.
Problem is: Trump didn’t run as a Republican - he ran as a 3rd party independent nationalist who took over the Republican party and still stands in opposition to most of their donors and goals (globalism, drug companies, cheap labor, open borders).
As Rush says, “The people made Trump - his voters, his supporters. Only they can unmake him.”
Brick, where did you get a grenade?
The shootings didn't affect the old psychopath, the leaks just might!
He supports those who fight for ISIS. What else do you expect?
As in ever. He was the ONLY republican in the Keating Five debacle. All he wants is more bribe money. What he did in the campaign against J.D. Hayworth was disgusting
We know tha Hillary was hacked by foreign states. We also know that three Islamic jerks were running IT for the house
He understands election corrupting because I believe he has been heavily involved in doing so in Ukraine And attempted to do so in Russia, unsuccessfully, even threatening Putin with an “ arab Spring”

Last year Russia arrested a Russian police officer who had 200 million in US dollars still packed in US mint delivery pallets. The officer’s father had another 300 million in his bank account. The money was intended for a color revolution in Russia.
Why would the leftist friends want an investigation of Trump and Russia if they are commie?
Why Arizona? Why?
The reason Rush says that is because there are people who believe Russia actually hacked the election - meaning changed the vote and made Trump president instead of Hillary. So, if Russia did hack the DNC, that hack had nothing to do with changing one actual vote.
Throw him and Schumer in a rig with one camera and see who survives.
Most people realizes McCain is suffering from dementia. Until recently I really did not comprehend just how unhinged he really is. It is time to have him committed to a sanitarium
Ol' McCain will play "politics" muddying the water and air to keep the scent off of him. Hoping the LSM will pick up on his rants and diverge on the scent trail like a well trained bloodhound on the chase.
With AG Sessions now in position and not having to play nice with the senile ol basturd, it may get interesting where this will go. Being, AG Sessions and McCain were never really close and only played the game in the Senate, I am sure AG Sessions will do his job to investigate McCain and his girlfriend Linda Grahamnesty.
You heard it here first.
Russia dropping the McCain/Linda/Obama/ and yes our favorite untried murderer, liar, and thief HRC bomb on Syria and Benghazi fiascos w/ weapons deal for terrorists........ including the YUGE amount of latest technology American shoulder fired SAMs that are now in ISIS hands.
Will the LSM report on this when the communications is delivered up between the F(*&cked Up Four showing how they collaborated with these animals to deliver our latest technology to shoot down Russian fighter aircraft. Then, now ISIS, the freedom fighters walked away with the weapons.
What should happen to the FUF? Will our new sitting President have the balls to hang the FUF or will they skate? I hope so...
Soros BIG money.
He's been bought and paid for the the arms lobby and the Arabs. He's doing exactly what he's handsomely paid to do.
Although I’m not usually someone who genuinely hates, I do truly hate John McCain. Whatever the truth is about his years in the Navy and in Vietnam, it does not balance out the acts of the politician he became. At least beginning in the early 1990’s with the breakup of the old Yugoslavia, McCain has pushed for war almost everywhere. He has harshly criticized Republicans more than Democrats most of the time, earning an undeserved “maverick” tag from the media whenever he turns on his own side. I loathe him more than it’s possible to put into words.
If the Logan Act is going to be used against someone like Flynn, it surely MUST be used against McCain, who has violated it more times than I can count.
