Milo was going to college campuses and debating the issues. He’s gay so that creates a big disconnect with leftists. He’s funny and smart and was changing minds.
He does represent a big threat. If Republicans go more libertarian on social issues (homosexuality, drugs), they’ll appeal to younger voters. That’s why Milo has to be stopped.
The book deal isn’t a big deal. He can go with a smaller publisher or even self publish. He’s got a fan base and can generate his own sales and likely make much more than the $250k he was promised.

Simon and Schuster probably paid part of that $250k as an advance for Dangerous. Whatever part of that he has in his pocket, I believe he is entitled to keep. The "morals" stuff will not hold up in court, as he is a known gay guy anyway, and so is probably a significant percentage of Simon and Schuster employees. They don't call it Simon and Shyster for nothing. Meanwhile, it's still #1 on AMZ's bestseller list. You don't think another house will pick up this money making title in a flash? Probably up the advance, too, as controversy sells books.

When you boycott a Trump or Milo, the same thing happens. People rush to buy. I read Milo’s apology or explanation on Facebook and it makes sense.
Yes, it’s a hit job. I predict nothing but success for this guy. If he wanted to, he could easily become a late night talk show host and blow everyone else out of the water in ratings.
This is just the beginning for MILO.

I really want him on our side. Bill Maher just told him he’s a “gay Christopher Hitchens”.
