That this is even proposed is terrifying, and if I were black in particular I’d be worried; with the free breakfast and afterschool programs, it is very clear that the state views black parents specifically as the worst danger to their children. Those schemes designed to minimize the time black children spend with their parents don’t even exist for/are not offered to most non-black parents.

I thought the whole idea behind involved, loving parenting was so that your kids didn’t “end up like all the rest.”
The whole idea of enforced equality never appealed to me.
It’s a stupid thought experiment carried out by a college srufdent who is in equal parts ignorant and indoctrinated in socialism. It is published in a student newspaper that will be read and debated by equally ignorant and indoctrinated students. No harm done - college is the time for foolishness.
