Or, it could be that his father and uncle are both illegal. Rather than wait to get deported, they both left the US. Self-deportation is just fine with me, too.

Let me add, the unstated assumption in all these “Trump is breaking up families” stories is that Mexico is like a prison camp or something.

I have been to Mexico numerous times. Much of the country is beautiful. Lots of fertile agricultural land, wonderful coastlines with great beaches, fantastic archaeological sites, good food, many cultural festivals, good beer and tequila, etc. etc.

Let the child go live with his father.

Trump deported them????????? One of 2 things happened: they were deported once before by Obama and came back and deported again on Trumps watch, or the kid is lying and Obama deported them just before leaving office. All illegal immigrants are are entitled to a $250,000 trial the first time caught and I doubt those trials take less than a month!
