Trump declares that ANYONE in the US illegally can be deported, regardless of a crime (Tr.)

Donald Trump may put all of the USA's illegal immigrants in ICE's crosshairs with two new orders that could allow for anyone to be deported, regardless of whether they have committed a crime in the US.

The first memo, which says all illegals are subject to deportation, is concerned with internal immigration control.

It orders ICE agents to disregard President Obama's order to focus on criminal immigrants and recent arrivals.

Instead, the order says, they should switch their focus and prioritize migrants who have been charged with crimes but not yet convicted.

It also broadens the scope of ICE powers to determine who should be deported, and says immigrants will not be afforded rights under US privacy laws.

The second memo instructs Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers to crack down on illegal migration at the border by holding migrants in detention until a determination in their case is made.

This type of propaganda hurts Trump down here in South America and probably very badly in Central America.

LOL!

There is domestic... And foreign policy.

Sometimes the press tries to hurt him at home.

Sometimes the press tries to hurt him abroad.

Well that’s it. Look like Trump has lost the South American vote.

Good! We don’t want any one to “illegally migrate” here from any place in the Western Hemisphere North or South of our borders. The citizens of this country, through our government get to “decide” who gets to come here, even for an EFFing vacation, comprende? We are not your “rich uncle” and you are not “welcome” to come here unannounced. Maybe you should consider making your countries a nice enough place that your citizens want to stay.

Careful or she will jump through your computer screen, smother you in gravy, and eat you for lunch.

What, no salsa verde? Bummer.

Trump declares that ANYONE in the US illegally can be deported, regardless of a crime

Commit a crime, go to jail. Enter without permission, get escorted out.

If you sneak into a theater without a ticket, you are not given a soft drink and bag of popcorn and allowed to watch the movie; you are escorted out whether you want to go or not. Not really hard to understand.

“I know this is completely legal, constitutional, and cannot be debated. However, a federal court will order it stopped. “

Right now, It’s long past time to start taking miscreant judges into custody and trying them for sedition.

I saw the terminology change since the 1980s. The change in terminology was meant to soften citizen resistance to an influx of ILLEGAL Aliens.

Perhaps you misunderstood.

Agree with you. 100%.

Sorry, I did take it the wrong way. You were just saying that the new orders won’t “play well” in SA and CA. I get it now!

Yep, I’m the one who posted the buffet pic.

Agree with you.

I’m just looking at all these stories in the foreign relations aspect. Yes... Nobody should enter illegally. Period. Build the wall. Agree. But we new to keep trump strong domestically and internationally.

I love the "Trump declares..." bit.

He doesn't need to "declare" anything. It's the law.

It's like "declaring" murder is wrong.

It is interesting the public schools were set up to help immigrants to assimilate into America society, the great melting pot.

An idealized version of American history was taught in the lower grades with more honest history introduced as the students matured. Besides American history there was Social Studies where we learned about our constitution and how the government (is suppose) to work.

The school I attended had a portrait of the President along with an American flag and we pledged allegiance to the flag each day (followed by the lord’s Prayer, yeah I am that old).

Today it appears school do everything they can to keep immigrants out of mainstream society.

Nations should have borders and only citizens and those legally invited by the government should live within those borders?

Shocking!!

“Drafts of two memos seen by Reuters”

I stopped reading right there: it’s a waste of time reading rumors. I’ll just wait and see what, if anything, is actually published by the Trump administration.
