And if this were “legalized,” this would still happen and be illegal.

Kind of like the Banawi.

Yes, because the government would ensure that the legal product was inferior and more costly. Just like they always do.

Heck, up north you aren’t even supposed to bring in wood from another COUNTY (diseases), and we import firewood from another COUNTRY?! We HAVE trees here, more than in Mexico.

HOnestly, I’m more concerned that they let somebody cross the border with firewood. That’s a great way to move invasive species from one place to another.

That could get by human inspectors but I don’t think that it would have a chance against the sniffer dogs.

I wonder how many gallons of moonshine have been transported over the years in loads of firewood?

That would’ve made for an interesting bonfire. Better make sure to have plenty of snacks on hand burning that wood.

You can get seriously ill from burning cannabis in land clearing.

Your bod has some limits on what in small amounts is of little consequence.

Firewood...in possession of... the wacky weed.

What has this world come to?

Even the trees are on the stuff...uh...have the stuff in 'em,

stuffed -- this ain't no disco buffet, this ain't no fooling around chowing down.

Bringing mesquite across our southern border is like bringing coal to Newcastle.
