TUCSON, Ariz. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Port of Sasabe arrested a Tucson man Wednesday for an alleged attempt to smuggle more than 100 pounds of marijuana worth an estimated $53,000.

Heck, up north you aren’t even supposed to bring in wood from another COUNTY (diseases), and we import firewood from another COUNTRY?! We HAVE trees here, more than in Mexico.

HOnestly, I’m more concerned that they let somebody cross the border with firewood. That’s a great way to move invasive species from one place to another.

That could get by human inspectors but I don’t think that it would have a chance against the sniffer dogs.
I wonder how many gallons of moonshine have been transported over the years in loads of firewood?
