Generally speaking, an individual fired with cause is ineligible, as far as I’m aware.

It depends. They person has an opportunity to appeal. In my case, the employer's excuse was such BS that they didn't even bother to show up for the hearing. It didn't take but one day later to issue a decision in my favor.

Basically, the crooked employer was looking for an excuse to steal my accumulated vacation. The "reason" they cited was unbelievable BS.
