Despite media reports of a massive crackdown by President Trump on illegal immigrants, just a tiny percentage of the nearly 1 million on the government's deportation list have been arrested, according to statistics provided to Congress.

The 680 seized in recent sweeps by U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement agents represent just .07 percent of the 950,062 with deportation orders as of May 21, 2016.

...

There are an estimated 3 million illegal immigrants with criminal records in addition to their illegal status and the administration has said it will make them a priority for removal. The numbers in the ICE answers could have adjusted but deporting criminal illegals was not a priority in the last months of the Obama administration, ..

“Though it does serve that purpose, remember that there are other Christians and Jews holding the same beliefs regarding birth control.”

But in Mexico there are only two significant faiths, the Catholics and although they are much, much smaller in numbers, the Mormons are #2. Not many Jewish Mexicans!

There are laws already to fine or jail employers who hire them. I’m disappointed Trump isn’t enforcing those along with cutting government handouts. Getting rid of them will be a lot more effective that way

Hit the insurance agents and carriers in this country up. They have the addresses to the illegal aliens in their databases. Hit every landscaper, every painting company, every contractor, and every subcontractor. You would find half of the 50 million illegal aliens in this country, this way.

I am also disappointed that the employers if illegal aliens have not been targeted for prosecution yet. However President Trump has only had an Attorney General for 2 weeks so I am somewhat understanding.

True. And Sessions is the best, has been fighting the fight against illegals almost solo for decades. I trust him to do it right.
