The media immediately pounded on President Trump. They ran attacks all day Sunday claiming Trump said there was a terrorist attack in Sweden.

Trump never said that. It was all made up. Fake news.

I have seen no post of yours that supports anything or any policy of our president.

I don’t understand the comment “ look what happened in Sweden last night “ even in the context of his comment being about something he had seen on FOXNews. It just wasn’t very clear. The reference certainly seemed to be that something had happened in Sweden Friday night and I was and I am confused why he stated it that way.

Here's the way I see it, but of course I may be wrong, but when he goes "off script" in his speeches, he is just speaking sort of "stream of consciousness". He starts sentences and doesn't finish them, he just gives a quick impression and and his mind ranges ahead and he jumps on to something else -- it's more like a verbal sketch than a photograph. So he says "look at Sweden" because he was watching a documentary last night, so he says "look at Sweden last night" and then he's on to the next impression, before he clarifies the one he is saying. It is like how we might speak among friends or family.

I think his supporters understand him. He validates everything his supporters already believe -- we already believe that Europe is suffering the consequences of too many immigrants, and too many of the immigrants are uncivilized and disrespect women. So when he says "Look at Sweden", we all already know, we are nodding our heads and saying, "Yes, that's right." Same with MSM being the enemy. We already have been believing for many years that the MSM is not on our side -- whether we use the word enemy, or opposition, or hostile, or whatever, but in general, he didn't turn us against the media, he is just expressing what we already know. We don't treat him as if he is on the witness stand and anything he says can be used against him.

But people who are against him, people who want to damage him, they do treat him as if he is on the witness stand. They don't "get" him and they don't want to "get" him. I believe they purposely misunderstand him, actually. They think he should be professorial and intellectual and speak in ponderous, weighty sentences and use long words and look down on everyone. So everything about his ad libbing is offensive to them. But his casual comments, his verbal sketches, are very effective, because they force a more detailed discussion of whatever his remark was about. In the last 48 hours we have learned all about the details of rapes and assaults by middle-eastern refugees in Sweden. If we didn't know about it before, we do now! Is this an intentional ploy? Whether it is or not, when the media pounces on some half-expressed comment he makes, it often backfires on the media, LOL. You should get a Twitter account, and just follow President Trump and maybe Sean Spicer. Over time you will find a few more people you trust and want to follow.

I don’t watch Fox News, or any broadcast news for that matter, so I had no frame of reference to go by.

Hard, verifiable facts are very important to me in all areas of my life so I don’t do well with ad lib with no context. I don’t make business or personal decisions of consequence without looking at any and all facts that are relevant if the are available in a timely manner. I am prone to being overly analytical and can get in to “paralysis by analysis” if I don’t recognize the onset, particularly in business decisions. I have people that will push me when I need it at work and my wife has no problem telling me to just make a decision.

I know Europe is having a whole host of issues with immigrants and refugees and that they have to make some decisions on how they want to proceed going forward.
