Fox News anchor Chris Wallace cautioned his colleagues and the network's viewers Sunday that President Trump's latest attack on the media had gone too far.
"Look, we're big boys. We criticize presidents. They want to criticize us back, that's fine," Wallace said Sunday morning on "Fox & Friends." "But when he said that the fake news media is not my enemy, it's the enemy of the American people, I believe that crosses an important line."

Grow up, Chrissy. We the People are not making the bias up. We the People didn’t start the fake news.......but we sure as shootin’ appropriated it.
What is this mysterious thing he is calling “the line”? Who gets to determine where it is? And how are consequences determined in the event someone “crosses it”? Just what is Wallace advocating?
Inquisitive minds want further clarification.

Trump is, when slamming the MSM, what an auto reviewer was in the 70’s, slamming the quality of American cars compared to the Japanese cars starting to flood the market.
So, what is the MSM going to do about it? Change or die?
He really has his panties in a wad over this - as though the media is above criticism and thinks they should not be questioned when throwing out their outrageous lies.
I’ve loathed Wallace since his little slide show he had for Trump during the republican debate.
No one else got that treatment. Haven’t watch anything with him in it since.
Chrissie doesn’t get to decide what important line was crossed. The American people do and the enemedia crossed that line a LONG time ago. Dear Chris, we do not like you. You have a bloated opinion of yourselves. You are not on the side of the average American and we know it.
So Chris, you really are doing a lousy job of pretending that you are fair and balanced because you are not.

Walpo etc quickly jump onto supporting the Wallace comment citing it being on Fox. In another time, had Wallace/Fox on Dec 6 1941 suggested a pending attack on Pearl Harbor the media would have said they were nuts or ignored them.
After years of calling Fox propaganda media, all of a sudden because Wallace supports their pissant position on Trump, Fox and Wallace are now quotable. What a bunch of jerks.
Chris Wallace was ranting and raving about Trump Sunday morning, I think he may have some kind of mental problem.

Might Jefferson have said it with the Johnson Amendment in place? The battle for our thoughts has been ongoing throughout history. The media, given a gift by President Johnson when he curtailed the churches from speaking politically, was able to make deep inroads into our public thought and action.
The media has been the dictator. The media was very consistent with the statement premised by the words “the American people”. It helped convince so many it was what the American people really wanted.
Once the Johnson Amendment is overturned, big changes in public thought and ambition will come.
