My wife canceled. Her Nordstrom card due to them dropping Ivank’s brand. She also told them why. Yesterday she got a letter say there was an issue with nonpayment on her account. She called customer service to see what was up. Turns out the guy she spoke to about canceling the card went into the system and put that Nordstrom closed the account due to multiple incidents of insufficient funds.
The woman she spoke to today confirmed that my wife has never had an insufficient funds incident and admitted this was an intentional act and the employees supervisor will be notified. She was also very apologetic.
They say they are looking into it. But, I am not satisfied. Not sure what our next step should be.
