Post of the day. It was far more dangerous to democracy when Obama had the press sucking up to him for eight years. The press was a virtual arm of his administration.

That's the way dictators like it. They would think that arguing with the press was unseemly, a sign of weakness, a sign that they weren't in control. Trump's attitude towards the press is as American as apple pie.
