Do you have any proof or links that the global warming theory was the reason they didn't renovate the dam when they should have?
I think mostly they just wasted the money on other things sacred to the Left, like illegal aliens, diversity uber alles, high-speed rail, and overall environmental looniness.
A huge number of these Leftards thinks dams are wrong, as it hurts salmon and eel spawning, and other such nonsense. They never mention the success with fish ladders at other big dams. Still, they hate mankind’s progress and triumph over nature, so I can see how they’d neglet dams.
