Wallace was acting that way with Reince because his interview with Rush was pre-recorded. He new if he let Reince dominate, it would be two people in a row who would make him look foolish. Wallace feels his job is to cause conflict, not go along with Trump. Wallace becomes a pain to listen to and watch. His body language tells us he does not like Trump.
