Looks like an all-out Never Trumper/Democrat lineup. Presumably the networks colluded—after declining Conway and getting Miller last weekend (bwahaha!) and then Trump’s tour de force press conference during the week—not to have anyone from the WH or otherwise sympathetic to Trump on any of their shows this week.
Okay, there is Priebus on one show and Rand Paul on another, but really—look at that lineup!
Week Just Passed
I write a column everyday called “Politics by Pat”. I’d give you the link to it but I have no idea how to link to a Facebook page. Before the end of day I will find out.
Anyway, here’s my plan….below are all the posts I made last week, with the applicable dates.
I figure it’s a good way to look over the events of the past week to prepare for that which might be covered on the Sunday political talk shows. Also, some gems you might enjoy, such as my critique of the grammy awards.
There is no Monday entry, or will there ever be, because on Mondays I write a quick synopsis of the…TADA…Sunday political talk shows! Y’all don’t need that.
But first, thank you AB for always doing a dependable live post. Thank you Bray for weekly wisdom and thank all yon commenters for fleshing out the political chatter and help to keep us straight.
Tuesday-date-2/14/17-daily update
So Michael Flynn resigned? Allegedly for a phone call he made to the Russian Ambassador?
I think there’s waaaaaaay more to the story than that. I think Flynn was some kind of traitor and got caught.
As a little gossip tidbit, please note that on E!’s Fashion Police last night, they analyzed and laughed and commented on every outfit worn to the grammies this past Sunday night.
BUT NOT EVEN A WHISPER ABOUT THE INFAMOUS TRUMP MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN DRESS!
This is because the singer who wore that dress went from a half a million down to like number 3! She’s beating out Lady Gaga and Beyonce!
Heh. Much as they try, America still does not hate Trump as much as they do.
Below my analysis of the recent grammy awards of 2017.
It’s very simple. I absolutely HATED the Grammy award show.
Let us begin with my being so tired of hearing Adele I wanted to scream.
Know that I like Adele; have a few songs of hers on my playlists. But last night that voice got ole and let us not forget how she sang almost half an awful song than stopped everything to start it all over again.
Now let me ask….WHO THE HELL IS JAMES CORDEN?
Yeah I know he was the host last night but I never heard of him before. He wasn’t very funny and his Trump jokes fell very flat.
Oh and how about this Joy Villa, someone else I never heard of before, but she wore that “Make America Great Again” dress and today her albums are in the top three! Up from a half million of the bottom. She’s got Beyonce and Lady Gaga beat!
Heh. So all of America hates Trump do they?
The best rock star voted was for David Bowie and the guy wasn’t even there to get the award.
Couple of good things. Celine Dionne looked absolutely terrific and the tribute to the Beegees was a good one.
Adele’s tribute to Michael Johnson was awful and who needs dopey Prince anymore now that he’s dead?
Beyond that, every musical played on that show all sounded the same….loud with smoke and fire blowing behind the 45,000 backup dancers.
Wednesday-date-2/15/17-daily update
So Michael Flynn phoned up a Russian diplomat and when questioned about those silly sanctions put in by President Obama, on command from Hillary Clinton, Flynn pooh-poohed them and supposedly assured him that after the election the sanctions would be lifted.
Somebody told VP Pence to announce this very publicly on a Sunday political talk show and Pence shouted to the world that no mention was made of sanctions in that telephonic conversation. Pence allegedly took this strong stance based on Flynn’s denial.
Now I think, and it’s just a guess and a hunch, that somewhere they have that conversation on tape because somebody somewhere in that lying scheming Obama administration, not to mention Hillary’s state department hates Trump and is busy planning and plotting getting rid of him, never mind how the people voted.
The Clintons and Obamas know they are better for us beyond our silly voting habits so they somehow taped everything being done by the incoming Trump administration. This is against the law but forget the law.
Since they have what I think was probably a brief throwaway line about those stupid sanctions put on Russia for, heh, “stealing” our elections because goodness knows if not for the Russians Hillary would have rightfully run.
With the Spector of this snippet of a conversation being played for America to hear, this with Pence now already on record as denying it all….well somebody had to be fired, or “resign”.
And it wasn’t going to be the Vice President.
They are determined people. They are determined to get rid of a lawfully elected president and who knows, maybe they will.
Thursday-date-2/16/17-daily update
Yesterday there was a vignette I shall describe which will illustrate the big difference between President Obama and President Trump. It was quite amazing.
But first, HOW ABOUT THAT STOCK MARKET?!?!?!?
Because even though the Snowflakes riot and try to overturn the results of a legal election….SNOWFLAKES DO NOT OWN STOCK!
That stock market ain’t going up because of the Snowflakes or our 358 Intelligence Agencies leaking everywhere.
That stock market is rising because we now have a President who wants to…..well, Make America Great Again!
Now about that moment. So there was Bibi Netanyahu, you know, the premier of Israel that President Obama positively despised? Well by me Obama was a Muslim, come on. And Muslim’s hate Israel, everybody knows that.
Sure, I’d rather have heathens who teach their kids to hate and blow themselves up than a group who has created a prosperous and peaceful country…..sure, that’s the ticket.
So Trump, when asked, said that as for this stupid “two-state” solution to Israel and Palestine, that he would be for whatever makes both countries happy.
Well how’s that for a concept? Not a single American President has ever said such a simple thing.
Of course this fake Palestine place has no more right to a country in that the country never existed before and now it is filled with thieves and thugs that even nearby Islamic countries will not take in.
Still and so, there will always be another Arafat, that awful man that Hillary Clinton hugged all the time and who is now buried and forgotten in somebody’s garden.
But yeah, how about these feuding countries handle it themselves, how’s that for a concept? Of course Israel could blow up Palestine, boom, without a second thought, and they just might. Blow Arafat out of the ground while at it.
Then Trump is asked about these Israeli settlements and Trump says, truthfully for a change, that he’d rather they slow up for a bit. Bibi then sardonically whispers that there will be a slim chance of that. Trump laughs and responds how tough Bibi is.
Bibi then makes a reference to Trump’s book “The Art of the Deal”.
It was a friendly exchange, not one where our President looks down his long nose and sniffs, leaving Bibi sitting in a room while he eats dinner, removing his picture from the oval office.
WHAT A CONCEPT!
Getting along with our international FRIENDS instead of the thieves and thugs to which we all must bow in the Day of President Obama.

What else is there to comment upon save that amazing press conference yesterday by President Trump?
I get a little uneasy sometimes when he speaks because, well he’s astonishingly honest. And, at times, I do ponder if this is appropriate for a POTUS.
Also, as an aside, we hear that Trump wine is sold out all over Washington D.C.
Heh.
Trump kept calling the media on their bias and lack of objectivity. Of course he kept calling it Fake News.
Folks, if anything on this planet is Fake News it’s this entire, getting old, Russian meme.
Everyone knows the Russians didn’t hack this election. I watch those Sunday political talk show hosts and shake my head. If I, a widow with little political experience, can figure out that the Democrats/liberals are trying to invent some sort of drama that Vladamir Putin personally spoke to all Americans and gave them a bit of cash to vote for Trump instead of Hillary.
Chuck Todd doesn’t know he’s a pawn in this big lie? We all know that guy on CNN’s State of the Union, forget his name but he’s the dumbest and worst political talk show host on TV, we all know he’s an idiot being bounced around by the Hillary crew.
Chris Wallace, a Fox guy, also jumps on the Russian meme because, well I guess he figures everyone else does, then he’s got to.
I simply refuse to believe that none of these guys know they’re being played for the fool. I believe that they are so flattered when Valerie Jarrett or some minion of hers phones up with info they can use on their shows and beg their participation.
If they really were not Fake News outlets, they’d all, ALL OF THEM, stop with this silly Russian bullshit.
We are not that stupid out here in la-la land where we carry our country on our backs.
Saturday-date-2/18/17-daily update
If there was a slow date this week it was yesterday.
So I’d like to take a moment to suggest a couple of things I don’t think President Trump should do.
Not that he needs to listen to me and further, there are five million more things I wished President Obama wouldn’t have done and even George Dubya, sorry but there’s one of the dumber of our presidents.
For example, Mark Cuban, a shark on that show and owner of some basketball team, thinks he should be our next president.
Trump tweeted out that Cuban constantly contacted him but he-Trump- did not have time to take all these calls and he thinks Cuban is too stupid to be president.
One more…..when he’s answering questions at a press conference, he tends to spend too much time thinking of clever responses, thereby missing the original point of the query and the rest of the words of the question.
An example was how he couldn’t stop by calling CNN FAKE news and had to add, after the first zinger, that CNN is now VERY FAKE news.
I mean it’s not witty or clever and I wish Trump would be a little more serious.
As for Mark Cuban being too stupid to be president, I mean come on. Calling people stupid in public is not classy and hey, I just wish Trump would stop doing it.
Even if THEY call him, the president, stupid, there is a difference between the president and the rest of America.
But that’s all. I still think that Trump is 90% good in his communication skills.
I’m just trying to brush him off, tell him to stand tall, and bring it up to 100%.
On a Personal Note
I mentioned a week or so ago that my daughter lost any custody she had whatsoever of her daughter. Her husband, the child’s father, got complete custody.
Now the terror and horror starts anew, with a little help from the gubmint of course.
Because daughter, a sufferer of Munchausen disorder as she loves to make herself sick and she wants to, and IS, homeless.
Yeah, she’s nuts.
So son-in-law gets a call from HER lawyer, her lawyer paid for by you and I, while son-in-law has to pay for his own lawyer and gets no child support. Daughter’s lawyer tells son-in-law that he must provide daughter with all of granddaughter’s doctors.
That’s her new meme. For many years it was suicide…suicide about 200 times a year, hospitals….onandonandon. I estimate she has cost taxpayers about 11 million dollars.
Seriously.
The judge took granddaughter back into chambers twice, kept her there for a half an hour. Each time he awarded custody to son-in-law, finally on a permanent basis.
Her new feel-sorry-for-me meme is that her daughter is being molested by her father.
And the gubmint is working it. Because daughter, she might be crazy but she’s smarter than any of us.
Granddaughter positively hates being involved in any doctor thing with her mother and her mother uses the doctors to get sympathy. Kaitlyn is a healthy and happy child.
Y’all ever heard of Munchausen by Proxy? Because a lot of murders happen that way and Dateline covers it all the time.
Son-in-law is desperately trying to keep my daughter from putting her daughter through all this but the gubmint, via taxpayer paid lawyers, are all involved.
It’s a nightmare. And Kaitlyn hates it. Kaitlyn is 13 years old. She has been interviewed by endless counselors and by that family court judge, for many hours.
Because Melissa wants drama and sympathy in her life and she beats the hell out of everyone around her.
Which wouldn’t be so bad BUT THE GUBMINT HELPS!

Reince Pribus is doing very well in defending the administration against this despicable news media campaign to bring down Trump over fake charges of Russian collusion. Mike Wallace grilling Reince reminds me a lot of the Watergate scandal when the news media pushed and pushed and kept the issue in the news and focused on every minute conversation, I can see the next media fake charge will be Reince misled Pence and there’s a cover-up.
