Just returned from my Diet Coke run, what have I missed?
Jay Seukulow is on it, hope he is communicating with the proper folks in the Trump administration that can take care of this.
I heard of this order that Obummer signed a while back and wondered then why it wasn’t jumped on.
Things move TOO slowly in the government unless it is nefarious like this order Obummer did in his last days.
I would think Jay is communicating with someone in the Trump admin - IIRC he’s been a supporter for quite a while. He has a great legal mind. I would have like to see him on SCOTUS but then read he’s in his 60s - he sure doesn’t look it. Maybe on one of the Fed courts or perhaps as an IG or an attorney in the government.
I thought it was interesting that Obummer did not sign this EO, but had Loretta Lynch do it. I’m not familiar with the EO process, per se, but I thought the Prez always signs them. Guess he didn’t want his fingerprints on this one.
IF it’s an EO, then Pres Trump could sign one to reverse it. I’m only guessing on this but I suspect he may not have signed one yet b/c 1) he wanted his security team in place to get their advice, and/or 2) he’s keeping it in place temporarily to ferret out the leakers in all 14 of the intel agencies.
