I saw this interview, this guy IS not taking into consideration the costs of having to process the paperwork for insurance payments and the extra time it takes for the doctors to get paid!!! I have excellent insurance however I pay cash for EVERY office visit!!! The cost when I pay cash is 60.00 if my insurance company were to be billed for my visit it is 120.00!!!!

Call your doctor office - any office and ask what is the cost for a visit. They won’t tell you. People make decisions on which doctor based not only on their credentials and reputation, but on cost.
It used to be that you could call and ask what is the cost for an office visit and they would tell you. Not anymore.
