Melania is Trump’s secret weapon. CNN, WaPo, (the failing) NYT and co. have a much more difficult time attacking Melania and the rest of Trump’s family than Trump himself. If Trump were to put Melania in front of the camera for 30 days, CNN would shrivel up and die.
I like her accent and diction.
She is authentic and that is refreshing to say the least.
She is who she is and she should not be afraid to be who she is. It’s great.

Astounding. Cannot remember the last First Lady who prayed (the Lord’s Prayer, no less) and then introduced her husband.
In my mind, the last “First Lady” could speak english just fine, but what came out of her mouth angered and nauseated me.
I can live with The Lord’s Prayer coming from Melania Trump.

Actually, I don’t think Mrs. Obama is a particularly articulate person, considering that she is any Ivy League educated attorney.
She is more comfortable with Oprah and Beyoncé.

I think her accent is beautiful & she is quite articulate. We have older German friends, both academics, who have been in this country 50 years & they still have a strong accent. My mother in love moved her from Italy 60 some years ago & has no accent.
Melanie does not need to be cleaned up at all. Her accent is very charming & goes with her personality which is lovely.

How stupid, if so!!! Totally inappropriate for them to be a position of movement during the anthem.
I would agree that she is about average in articulation, and I don’t think her Ivy League degrees are worth the paper they are printed on.
But that isn’t the point I was making. In my opinion, she doesn’t represent me, Donald Trump does. She happens to be his wife. She speaks six languages, of which english happens to be just one.
I respect that.
I don’t know you, but I suspect that is more than you and me put together!
