Salem Radio Network to Launch The Joe Walsh Show [replacing Steve Deace]

Salem Media Group (SALM), announced today that Chicago-based talk show host Joe Walsh will be joining the network lineup in the 9pm to midnight ET time slot, replacing Steve Deace on February 20th. Walsh, a former U.S. Congressman, comes to the network from WIND-AM 560 The Answer, where he holds down the 5pm to 7pm slot. Walsh will continue with the local show, and add the national show later in the evening.

Thanks for pointing that out. I couldn’t figure out why posters didn’t like the other Joe Walsh.

No problem. Both Walshes had a feud when the congressman ran for re-election. Debbie Wasserman Schultz tweeted the musician but meant the politican. That lead to the Eagles guy endorsing the Democratic candidate in the race.

That then lead the congressman to use a comedy rip off of the song Walk Away in his campaign stops. So the Eagles guy sued but lost in court. But the congressman lost re-elections to Tammy Duckworth.

But it doesn’t end their. The Eagles guy performed a fundraiser for Duckworth and donated to her campaign.

I listen to Joe Walsh on WIND. I like most of what be says, but he does annoy me sometimes. For instance, he was going and on about how Flynn and the Russian thing should be investigated by Congress. He also says that if you just want to hear that President Trump can do no wrong turn on Limbaugh or Hannity.
