Oh thank you! I’ve been incorrectly posting that it was Keith Ellison, not Eli Cummings.
Wish I could edit those mistakes.
Sad, isn’t it?
Too funny. Trump couldn’t have been more open and sincere about this.
This is a PRIME example of FAKE NEWS.
Read the FAKE NEWS story... then watch the press conference and decide for yourself. ( 1:10:35 in - approx 6 min from the end )
A black politician was upset about a scientific term? A black hole?
I can only shake my head. Seeing grievances everywhere has to be corrosive to the soul.
I guess everyday is Festivus for some people. ;)
“”You forgot People of Color.””
Yes, I did and had that gnawing feeling that something was missing. I’m sure there are still more descriptions...
Yes I noticed that. The timing couldn’t have been worse. The president tarnished the best month of the year! LOL!
I do not understand what the big deal is. Am I missing something?
It’s all about race, class, gender.
“”Susan Rice, U.N. ambassador under the Obama administration, tweeted an article about the incident and called Trump’s remarks “notably offensive.””
Susan Rice better known as the idiot who went on national TV on a Sunday morning and lied over and over without any repercussions.
I know nothing about “tweet” except people seem to be in love with it. Tell me do “tweets” ring a bell notifying people that they’ve written something brilliant and everyone must read it or how does it work and WHY pray tell, does anyone care what any DEMONCRAP tweets - regardless of who it is or what it is? Can’t we just at least pretend they are so far in the past now that we can forget they ever existed? What would a day of news look like if we didn’t have to hear about what some person “tweeted?”
Best post ever.
I agree—the president wants to help these people, to revive inner cities, and I think many blacks know it. If they don’t now, they will soon when things start to change, when young men get jobs, when LE is supported, when businesses slowly return to the inner cities, etc.
Something needs to be done to encourage marriage.
Black families were stable and thriving before welfare, which just created fatherless boys needing structure and turning to gangs.
My guess is that the "American" part is offensive to them now.
Republicans saved the Republic
Freed the slaves
Started the NRA to defend blacks
Not involved in the KKK, PP
Decisive vote to make the (unconstitutional) Civil Rights Act law
Paid trillions in wasted transfer payments
Trump explicitly reaches out
Yet were the bad guys that don’t make them feel welcome -GTFO
Don’t forget Colt 45’s and then menthol cigarettes for after.
Same outrage, different liberal. Eeeyawwwwwn. Whatever.
And now Trump can simply ignore them and appeal directly to black voters who are not fans of the kabuki theater put on by the CBC.
Just like he did for republican voters sick of the republican party and swing voters sick of the fake news media.
“his inability to relate to them”
It appears to me this entitled bimbo was not able to relate to Trump. It’s a new day where the old PC, walk-on-eggs-so-as-not-to-upset-minorities routine is no longer in effect. Now, shut up and sweep and mop, April.
Who cares? They were already "outraged" and just looking for any excuse to justify it.
His reply was due to her attitude not towards a general dismissal of minorities. No, his reply was because he knew, per Wikileaks hacked e-mails to Podesta, she offered to set up a meeting (among other things) for Hillary with the CBC.
Just so everyone knows who the Reverend Emanuel Cleaver is .... http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/03/20/AR2010032002556.html "......Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.) issued a statement late Saturday saying that he was spit upon while walking to the Capitol to cast a vote, leading the Capitol Police to ..."
