While they’re at it, look into getting the Air Force some F-15 Silent Eagles and restarting the F-22 Production Line.

Oh yeah, redesign the A-10 and give it to the Marines.

Seems like the best bang for the buck in the current risk situations we face is carrier based fighter jets. Stealth F35s are only needed in a Cold War stand off with China and Russia. F18s are needed for low tech ISIS type threats. So how many F18s do I get for the price of a F35? We won WW2 by out producing everybody else, similar logic in my mind.

Plus when I put my Corporate hat on, why do I need F16, F18, F22, F35 and on and on fighter jest? Couldn’t consolidate, using many standard parts, have a stealth and non-stealth type fighters and get it to just two?
