Yes, they do need to learn they are in the US and working under US rules. But I wonder what would have happened to them if they had walked off their job in Mexico? My guess is they would have been fired and wouldn’t have had a bunch of reporters doing a story on them.

Here's the list of jobs in the construction industry that won't get done, for the most part, without "questionable" labor: painting, bricklaying, tile setting, concrete pouring & finishing, roofing, and likely some others I'm not thinking of right now. This is my observation in the business since 1981 and in my personal life when building/renovating a house. Higher skilled and licensed work like electrician and plumber are generally not peppered with "questionable" labor.
Now that the base board has been removed and a light has been shined in, some of these cockroach companies are scared of being found out that they have employed illegals for decades.
Why? There is more to this than meets the eye. You can bet BCI has hired illegals to fill its job needs or these people would not have walked off the job.
These people being second level supervisors tells me they probably could speak two languages (spanish being one) so they could communicate with the "help". These second level sups probably and imported their kinfolk from Mexico to work at BCI.
No, something just smells fishy for this ol fisherman.

My youngest is a many generations American Citizen, he works in a factory, miss a day with out a doctors excuse note, you lose your job, it’s in their contract.
Those stupid women who march next will find out the exact same thing. Don’t show up for work, no job to go back to. All employers need to post signs, IF YOU DON’T SHOW UP FOR WORK YOU ARE FIRED! See how long they last with no income. Because UE will be denied.
