Knowledgeable sources tell CNNs Dylan Byers they believe that White House counselor Kellyanne Conway is behind the media narrative that President Donald Trump is not happy with Sean Spicers performance as White House press secretary.
Both Reince Priebus and Steve Bannon denied that Spicer was in the doghouse, saying that he had the full confidence of the president. Priebus suggested the rumors were being spread by a low-level staffer, while Bannon suggested that the media, the opposition party was simply telling lies.
Many people sympathetic to Spicer in and out of the White House believe otherwise, Byers reports. Five of these sources think the person behind the leaks is Kellyanne Conway, Trumps ever-visible White House counselor. Though they offer no hard evidence, they say Conway is trying to offload blame for administration setbacks on Spicer to prove she is the more effective public advocate
Conway of course denies the charge. Absolutely not, she said in a statement. Its absolutely false. Sean has my full support, but most importantly, he has the presidents full support. We work as a team
I believe the president and his team are doing psyops on the media too, and specifically on CNN. Jim Accosted, Wolf Blitzed and the rest of the phony news crew over there are not hiding their hatred for this administration so the president and his crew are no doubt using that to their advantage. CNN will jump on any rumor and lie about Trump and run with it. They’re desperate and they’re gonna fall flat on their faces. Pass the popcorn and don’t skimp on the butter.
“CNN Sources” is really Random Hit Piece Generator 2.0 from Shitware Inc. running on a TRS-80 Model III in the basement of a boarded up brick building built in the 1920s.
That’s what we’re reacting to.
WhutevaELLOHELLE!
He briefed on the way down on the phony AP National Guard story.
Trump is setting traps all over. He is catching a lot of vermin in them. CNN’s by the score.
CNN proving why Trump has upped their classification to “very fake news”.
The article cites anonymous sources “believe”. Seriously, so now they’re running sources opinions as hard news?
This is what happens when an agenda overrides any concern of even a pretense of objectivity.
Does the low level staffer even exist? Maybe one of us should call claiming to be a staffer and start some rumor and see what happens.
A juvenile attempt to cause chaos in the Trump camp after you’ve been taken to the woodshed
“CNN Sources”—e.g., more fake news from the Left.
Correction. Very fake news.
Make up a fake twitter account and send some tweet. Cummings and Pelosi will call a news conference whether it’s a verified account or not. Fools! We need to know how Pelosi became so knowledgeable about scapegoats.
I think Trump gave his weekly address today instead of tomorrow, too ..... that should have been enough of a bone thrown to the press jackals for them to gnaw on.
That is the problem. I don’t go on Twitter.
Some FReepers do, so that’s OK.
This story is so obvious in that they are try do cause discord in the Trump administration. Not going to work as we are on to their fake news.
It’s “Very” Fake News now.
I believe the presser gave way to the president’s remarkable appearance before a great crowd, from his landing onward.
No one should dare detract from the president’s great day. The media was forced to cover Trump and BOWING, not a DC press distraction.
Spicer is cracking me up.
He should absolutely stay....
