Once they get boots on the ground they will be used to shield “rebels” against the Russians and the Syrian Army
We will yet again be invaders and occupiers. We have not been invited by the Syrian Government which is not the best but far from the worst government in the world.

Our troops will be used to help some “democratic army” overthrow Assad, or as it will be euphemistically termed “Bring peace stability and democracy to the Syrian people”
