‘Plus they have an alternate source of information with the Internet.’
This is crucial. And on the Net, the Establishment is moonbat liberal, and the ‘rebels,’ are conservative.

the problem is that relatively few folks (less than 5%) see it unfiltered. The rest get it through media summaries - and just see their take.
I was in transit yesterday - and at both my gates - CNN was loud. And they had a completely different take - unfortunately, most people were watching. I wante to scream @ CNN

I confess that when Obama criticized the press I was alarmed, but when Trump does, I'm not. The reasons are:
1. Obama's criticism was limited to Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, and conservative talk radio in general. Even though 90% of the press was behind him, it bugged him that it wasn't 100%, and I thought that was spooky.
2. I thought Obama might actually do something to shut up his media critics. There was that idea he floated to have "monitors" in the nation's newsrooms to examine the process by He also was trying to establish criteria by which "under-represented communities," i.e., left-wing activist groups, would be able to push conservatives off the air based on a demand for "equal time." Any conservative station would thus have to reduce conservative air time in favor of leftist alternatives.
3. There is no way that Trump could or would actually try to use the government to suppress liberal journalism.
4. Trump is criticizing a very dangerous trend in journalism, in which the deep government actively joins forces with the media to bring down a president via illegal leaks, innuendo, and actual falsehoods.

I didn’t know skiing had topped snowboarding with the teen generation. Interesting!
Trump definitely factors into this sea change. The teachers and other authority figures went too all-in on Hilary. Teens can be ruthless in spotting fakes, and Hillary fairly screams Fake! at every turn. Trump is genuine, warts and all—and teens love him.

No teleprompter, and no wide screen tv in the middle of the room with big letters continuously scrolling on what the next question is and how to answer it.

I love how Trump has co-opted the term “fake news” which was originally coined by the libs.

What you have to remember:
If they get rid of President Trump, they WILL kill 25 million of us to shut us up.
It's all about controlling the Supreme Court. I'd lay money that the Senate Democrats and the #FakeStreamMedia combine to block President Trump's Supreme Court picks.

If I ever saw that Garrett in public and met him face to face it would take all I could muster to keep from busting him in the face. Invite him to step around back of the building...

With a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound
He pulls the national press corps down.
Helpless liars in the press corps’ room
Scream bug-eyed as he looks in on them.
He picks up a mike and he throws it back down
Wades through their crap. This is now his town.
Oh no, they say he’s got to go go go Trumpzilla
Oh no, there goes the WaPo go go Trumpzilla.
History shows again and again
How nature points up the folly of men

I am so tired of that wise ass smarty look of Major Garretts (CBS). Just a snide, smirky, smarmy condescending arrogance that just oozes hate. He reeks of it. Well, he is a Major after all. That's no small accomplishment! But I guess he's still irritated his parents didn't name him Colonel.
To: poconopundit; aquila48; trebb
I'm glad Major Garrett still hasn't totally lost his wits when it comes to respect for the Presidency.
It's not so on Twitter, where Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey allows people who threaten Trump's life to stay on Twitter.
This may come to force of arms, and The Muslim Seditionist, Zerobama, has seditious embeds within the US military.
I know of one retired Special Forces colonel whose wife, a reporter purporter & a former employee of the Pentagon, was talking about a coup several weeks ago.
The seditious scumbag "colonel" lets it all hang out on Twitter.
We may have to fight these people in our own country.

And the answer he gave was a high point of the press conference. Trump explained how he was going to keep military matters secret and how the press was trying to kill the opportunity for Russia and America to work together for peace. I agree this was one of the most important points. Trump came in with a good chance of finding some area of mutual benefit where US and Russia could work together. At least a possibility. But with all this incessant anti-Russian pollution, drumming up bad feelings, insulting Russia -- even if the Russians see through it, it impacts what they can do (they have a public also) and what Trump can do. So one has to conclude that they are doing this on purpose to make sure that Trump and Putin can't ever get anything going.

I agree. And don't kid yourself that it's not just the media, but the entire intel Deep State, led by John McCain, that wants to see Russia and America at odds with each other -- forever.
If Trump can get Russia and the USA on the same page, there's a Nobel Peace Prize in that accomplishment, even though we can never expect the Lefties in Norway to help Trump one little bit.

It did go too long. The WH should stop the media’s statements before asking questions. President Trump should follow a strict guideline and not repeat himself so much.
But, don’t you just love the way he has boxed in the press?

Trump does a service to the First Amendment in demanding the press do a better job of objective coverage, at least if it purports to brand itself as unbiased. This is what the morons in the news media industry just don't get. Trump is actually trying to help them. They are thoroughly discredited in the eyes of true Americans. In their pompous self-righteousness they won't see it, or may be they can't.

I’m not sure skiing has over come snowboarding it just seems like much more popular with the kids these days than lets say a decade ago. Not a fact just an observation
