Understood. The pressure on SC judges must be intense. I thought John Roberts would be a good chief justice, but he caved like a Boehner clone. Sad!

I believe Gorsuch will stay true to his originalist principles. Otherwise, why would the Democrats be in hysteria mode? If they sensed another Roberts in the works, there would be at least a hint of pro forma in their abject caterwauling.

?? They can cherry pick the cases they wish to hear (can be ZERO, no?). You got one geezer who falls asleep at the bench.

Lastly, their job is EASIEST on the planet. Consult Constitution, founding documents and writings, then precedent. Course, most of ‘em skip to precedent and add in ‘personal opinion’ or ‘foreign law’.
