Today is marked as “A Day Without Immigrants.” This movement has been engendered in response to President Trump’s steps to halt illegal immigration and entry from countries known for dangerous, anti-American ways of life and citizens who wish do harm the people of this great nation. A Day Without Immigrants is designed to show Americans what the country would be like without immigrants. Construction companies, restaurants, and other businesses with lots of immigrant workers are either closing down or donating today’s earnings to nonprofits that aid Latino communities.

Cool. Again, can we get them to do it 7 days per week, 365 days per year? I think we can adjust to doing without them (the illegals).
I shopped, had lunch out with no problem. But then I don’t live on east or west coast. Lol, guess those people will suffer....
Illegal immigrants and potentially dangerous immigrants not properly vetted are an invasion and the feds are constitutionally mandated to protect the U.S. from invasion (Art IV, Sec 4).
If it came and went and you didn’t notice, then it proved the opposite. You don’t need them.
If on the other hand it did impact your daily life, then it proved they ought to have hired Americans instead. They would probably have shown up for work.
Today I attended Mass, shopped, had lunch, took an impromptu nap and am "hitting" the boards. I live on the one of the coasts...and haven't "suffered" since the tree trimming folks fired up their chain saws.
They are gone now and I COULD nap again.
Ooohhhh, the pain of such a day....
My biggest gripe is how they push unskilled black labor out of the pool.

Correct name for them: hostile criminal invaders
Keep it simple. The Constitution mandates the feds prevent invasion.
Illegal immigration is invasion, so illegal immigrants are invaders (hostile or not).
Immigration of America’s enemies is invasion, so enemy immigrants are invaders.
Illegal alien invaders should all be arrested, have their assets seized and deported. If they have the nerve to return, shoot them.
West coast is fine without them too. Had a nice lunch near LA today and didn’t have to fear getting any of my food spit on.
One of the ‘immigrants’ hit my Cadillac parked in front of my house, caused massive damage to my rear fender, and took off.
A neighbor caught his license plate number.
The ‘immigrant’ worked for a local business.
Needless to say; no insurance.
Was he jailed, deported? No the authorities couldn’t have cared less about it.
No doubt the media will spin this as a total coast-to-coast shutdown, but I didn't notice even a taco stand closed today.
