Four arrested in armed robbery of McDonald’s restaurant in Gulfport

Gulfport — Police have arrested four people in the Jan. 29 armed robbery of the McDonald’s restaurant on Courthouse Road, and one of its customers.

Police said they are Gulfport residents Titus Johnathon Daniels-Young, Kyle Addae James Monroe and Darome James Matthews, each 17, and Frederick Leon McCall, 23.

Two of them shown in surveillance pictures from the restaurant wore masks and dark clothes, and at least one had a handgun.

It’s unclear which two went in the store, or if they all did, and if the other two were the getaway driver and lookout. Gulfport police Sgt. Joshua Bromen said he can’t discuss that at this phase in the investigation.

Under state law, everyone involved in an armed robbery faces the same charge. It doesn’t matter if the gun is loaded or not — or if it’s a fake gun or toy gun. The crime carries a penalty range from three years to life in prison. (snip)

The 17-year-olds are being charged as adults.

I assumed they were BLACK...Where do they come up with those NAMES..You will NEVER SEE AN Agamemnon creating Havoc and killing citizens.. ROBS A Mc Donalds... A study of bank robberies showed that the vast majority that didn't fail in the bank got away with an average of $4000, and the vast majority of those didn't get to spend it all by the time they were caught. Only a tiny minority get away with it in the long run, and very rarely is it for more than $10,000. Armed robbery is almost as tough as the lottery for those wanting to hit it big.

Been there, one that 3 years in the Wisconsin system....much later exhonerated and worked in the Indiana Dept of Correction as a security officer and a youth service officer. Both sides of the coin and while most of the troublemakers were black, it's because of the way they were brought up. They always had to act like the tough guy on the streets or they wouldn't have lasted.....Once you got them alone, they were just as much little boys as were the white kids. They refused to ever show weakness to the other inmates because they really didn't know how. They acted ten feet tall and bulletproof, but they were really insecure juveniles who had no idea of how to be a child. Some made it, many didn't because they were released back into the same zoo they had come from.
