As we are talking about individuals demanding that other individuals cater to them, I would say the precedent is only about 50 years, form the civil rights act of 1964.
>

Oh, I’d say it started in the 1800’s w/ the *FREE* ‘public schools’. The 60’s were just the final nail in the coffin re: “...vote itself largess out of the public treasury...” (enshrined into ‘law’ and, needing to get re-elected, no politician will touch it).

Aren’t flowers biological contradictions of LGBTXYZ’s socially constructed identity?

When Pistils and Stamens are outlawed as Social Constructs...

...Only outlaws will have Pistils and Stamens!

Yep.

“Are you concerned that Neil Gorsuch belongs to a far-left church?”

“Joshua Goodbaum served as a clerk for Gorsuch in 2009, and now works as an attorney. He told Reuters on Friday that on the week of his 2014 “wedding” with his partner, Gorsuch expressed his support.

“He said, ‘This is a wonderful thing. You’ll see how your relationship grows,’” Goodbaum recalled.“

No cause for concern there!

Your obsession with homosexuality is CREEPY. I wish you could indulge this bizarre pathology without feeling some weird need to drag me into it. Barring that, all I can do is IGNORE you.

Part of the problem here is the left thinks they are a ‘service’ that everyone is entitled to instead of a ‘business’. A business should be allowed to choose what they sell, and quite frankly, who they sell to - Just as much as we can choose who to buy from.

I guess I will never give up the ghost when it comes to my take on why Segregation should never work.

I grew up in an era/atmosphere that if you didn’t want my business, or money etc, I would be a fool to insist or take you to court over it.

The old ‘Love me, Love my Dog’ is at work.

If I go to a place and there is a no dogs or no guns sign, if I have both with me, it is just a waste of my time if I ‘insist’ you ‘serve’ me.

A ‘no concealed weapons’ sign is there to be ignored as if you are carrying concealed etc etc etc etc

If a person bent on ill will shows up and has the owner at gunpoint, I am sure he (owner) will not ‘worry’ about his sign if I disarm the person while he is ‘beating down’ on the owner.

Because of the moronic way the laws and ‘rules’ are written, I will not intervene in a robbery or mugging unless I am the target or it is evident the thief will do personal harm to someone.

Then I will reluctantly step in.

I make deliveries (several deposits) to banks on a daily basis and have told them all that I will NEVER interfere if just money is involved but will intervene if it starts getting ‘rough’.

I also told them that after the ‘robbery’ starts and I collapse in a heap with a ‘heart attack’ (at my age very easy to ‘pretend’) don’t draw extra attention to me as I will be getting my pistol from my shoulder holster - In case it is needed...

Of course every situation has a different ‘solution’.

...Cupcake.

Your obsession with cleverly perverting scripture (which condemns false doctrine) is consistent with the proponents of the agenda being addressed in this thread:

Jesus gave us a vivid and clear picture of the Day of Judgement. The sheep and goats were forever divided. Have you read the account recently? Does Jesus say to the sheep, “Come to my right hand side, because you always maintained doctrinal purity,” while to the goats, “Depart into the eternal fire of damnation, accursed ones, because you embraced liberal doctrines,”?

Matt 19:4-6

4 "Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,'a 5 and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'?b 6 So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

NIV

John 14:24

24 He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

The cause for concern is that you seem to be bent on tarnishing the reputation of the Judge that the rest of us are hoping will shortly be able to move the Supreme Court in a more Conservative direction. Why are you obsessed with Gorsuch's Church. As I pointed out on another thread, many Americans stay in their family Churches even after the denomination appoints a Leftist cleric. This is not analogous to Obama seeking out a congregation that "damns America."

As for the claim by the homosexual lawyer? There is clearly no way to vet whether such a remark was actually made. People of that sort of inclination, of course, are notorious for claiming more credibility than they actually have. Let it rest! There are critical cases coming up on which the Judge's vote will be of vital importance.

>>"Ignore"

Yep -- that's pretty much how the proponents of homosexual "marriage" respond to Christ's clear teaching on the subject:

Matt 19:4-6

4 "Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,'a 5 and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'?b 6 So they are no longer two, but one. >>Why are you obsessed with Gorsuch’s Church.

Because the DOCTRINE it teaches is a reflection of his judgement.

"Leftwing members of Congress and various State Legislatures have intoned on the need for legislation against "hate"; proposals, which would make it a criminal offense to proclaim the basic religious teaching that homosexuality is an abomination, "

http://www.truthbasedlogic.com/firsta.htm

How does that work in the context of the "inclusive" pro-homosexual "marriage" doctrine embraced by...

===============

...Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch?  He belongs to a far-left church that embraces marriage redefinition, gun control, and the theory of man-caused global warming.

He belongs to St. John's Episcopal Church in Boulder, Colo., the Episcopal diocese of Colorado confirmed on Wednesday. Church bulletins show that the judge has been an usher three times in recent months. His wife Louise frequently leads the intercessory prayer and reads the weekly Scripture at Sunday services, and his daughters assist in ceremonial duties during church services as acolytes.

The first word that St. John's uses to describe itself on its website and Facebook page is "inclusive," and the church is led by a female rector. On its website, the church encourages members to write letters to Congress asking for actions addressing climate change.

That's not all.  Its website also calls for members to lobby their congressmen for more gun control.

And more:

Rev. Susan Springer has said she is pro-gay marriage and offers blessings to same-sex couples

The church's Rev. Ted Howard also signed a letter slamming the 'disrespectful rhetoric' directed at Islam as Trump floated a ban on Muslim immigrants[.] ...

And unlike them, I didn't get bankrupted by a discrimination lawsuit.

As it was with Christians who would not deny their faith as they were being thrown to the lions in ancient Rome and today will not deny their faith as they face certain beheading at the hands of ISIS, standing for one's faith is something that often comes with a price.

If you stand for little more than what you can anonymously type on a thread like this, you should remain fairly free from harm, even as it appears that you are content to leave the heavy lifting to others.

The fact still remains that. as a person, truthfulness is not your strongest suit, and you are one who will readily be inclined to sacrifice what is truth on the altar of expediency.
