Trump is a winner, his supporters knew this from the start and were more than willing to look past his many faults in order to WIN.
Now that we have WON, it’s payback time!
It's not that we looked past them--his faults--we judged them on their merit and in many ways, with forgiveness. We didn't allow the media to define him, knowing that many former Presidents and candidates have said things they would probably regret as an older, more mature person. It's just that the media overlooked other foibles.
