Surprising as Trump comes from the corporate world. Sabotage by employees of the prior regime is SOP after mergers and acquisitions. The new boss generally moves swiftly. The former President’s Secretary is always the first to go, as she is the communications hub for the old regime.
I am sure Trump knows the drill. Somewhat surprised he did not follow it.
That was not my experience in technology companies. Maybe there was a clash of corporate and even national cultures, but I never saw or heard of anyone sabotaging anything. It would be counter productive to your own future.
But then again I never was privy to what went on behind closed doors in the corner office.
It is not so easy to do in government as it is in the corporate world.
