They said he did not lie or do anything wrong. Flynn’s statement was that he provided inaccurate information to Pence - sounds like an accidental omission or faulty memory or something. If he didn’t lie - or do anything wrong - Trump should have stood by him and refused his resignation. I am the biggest Trump fan ever, but I am disappointed by this - and I feel that it has opened the door for more witchhunts. No Trump appointee is safe now if the Left doesn’t like them. Makes me suspicious of the ones the Left DOESN”T go after now.
I feel like this is a big setback.
I was never wild for Flynn. He’s a Dem. I thought he was a mistake. It happens. Its best to just cut him loose now and move on. This story will be dead in a month. The Gorsuch hearings will be the next flashpoint.
We may find out one day why Flynn was dumped but I guarantee it was not because of a so-called lie to Pence. This is clearly a B$ cover story with rehearsed talking points.
We are in a minority here for sure. Most Freepers have accepted the B$ cover story. The whole explanation stinks, sounds rehearsed and shallow, Pence was disrespected? Right.
