When I was around 5, a barge was found abandoned in Panama City or nearby. They had a picture in the paper and it looked like a perfectly good one. This was around 1952.
It was auctioned off for a dollar. I remember thinking that I could have begged my parents for that much and how neat it would have been to have my own barge to play on.
Found it! Wow 2004. Time is flying. It only seemed like yesterday we had visions of FR force projection. :)
