Trump Draft Executive Order on Welfare Has Liberals FURIOUS
Conservative Tribune ^ | 02/15/17

Posted on 02/15/2017 2:28:07 PM PST by Enlightened1

A copy of a draft order reported by The Washington Post earlier this month and being circulated among cabinet members seeks to address what the order describes as a massive burden on the American taxpayer.

The order calls for immigrants “likely to need certain types of public aid” to be identified prior to entry, and for immigrants already using those services to be deported.

The draft order also requires strict financial responsibility for relatives who promised to support immigrants who are instead now relying on social aid.

The potential savings estimated by the order are as high as “$100 billion,” although little data exists to support that figure.

Welfare is a way of life for too many immigrants, according to the Center for Immigration Studies. All immigrants, legal and illegal, are more likely than native-born people to use some form of welfare. Those who have U.S.-born children make far greater use of the system.

We should be welcoming immigrants with open arms, not an open wallet. Liberals are losing their minds over the idea that we might inject some economic realism into our immigration policies.

“He [Trump] would literally be taking food out of the mouths of babes,” Kevin Appleby of the Center for Migration Studies told The Washington Post.

Perhaps instead of reaching out to immigrants the moment they set foot on our soil to connect them with social service programs, we need to be connecting them with jobs the minute they arrive.

Anyone trying to immigrate to Australia, New Zealand and apparently Canada without a source of income or a pot of money, and see how far they get.

Even Mexico. In order for an American to move there you have to have 100,000 in the bank and show an income of at least 2-3,000/month for the past 2 years.

And you won’t get government paid benefits.

Illegal immigrants are not eligible. That’s why they start popping out kids here. The kids are all eligible and the illegal parents get the bet cards. If just one person in a family of illegals is legal they’re eligible for section 8. An American born baby is their bucket of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Legal immigrants sign papers saying they will not use public assistance. Since the different counties across the nation disburse the welfare the immigrants are not held to it. Some of the legal immigrants have sponsors that the paperwork says they will support them for five years. They’re not held to it either. If they’re legal the counties sign them up.
Refugees are a special breed they get instant, legal welfare for up to 7 years supposedly. I’m sure just like all the other requirements they’re not held to the 7 years.
I was an eligibility worker for food stamps and MediCal in another life.

“Those who have U.S.— born children make far greater use of the system.”

FReepers can go to their state’s online food stamp / welfare benefits application and look at it. You’ll likely see the anchor baby loopholes jumping right out at you.
It’ll have some sort of lame disclaimer that says “if you are not a citizen, you are not eligible for benefits. However, if others in your family are citizens, YOU may apply on THEIR behalf.”
Many applications ask, is anyone in the household pregnant or in need of prenatal care—regardless of immigration status, in effect saying, come here and have a baby. We’ll pay!
Some states have the applications printed in multiple languages, or offer free translators.
Some of the state applications even have questions like, “Is anyone in your home an unaccompanied minor?”
One the “unaccompanied minor” or anchor baby is signed up, the child is entitled until age 18 for the full ride, including housing and medical.
One anchor baby lays the basis to establish a welfare household, and then bring in the rest of the family from the old country.
The citizen baby needs a social security card to get the food stamps, etc, but the SS card has no birthday or age on it and can then be used by others in the household.

Subsequent citizen children born a few years apart, or born to teenagers in the household, can keep the gravy train rolling for decades.

If the kid’s non-citizen family accidentally enjoys the free beans and subsidized housing, too, that’s private. Not the taxpayer’s business. /s

FReepers should look at this stuff and then contact their state legislators and demand they put a stop to it.

Illegal aliens have no business applying for 18 years of welfare “on behalf of” their minor children who shouldn’t have been born here or brought here by the illegal aliens in the first place.

I thought this was already part of immigration.
If they have no means of support, they need a “sponsor”, who has to sign an affidavit of support, in the U.S. to ensure that they do not become dependent financially on the U.S. Government.

Some of them (not from Mexico) claim to be refugees which makes them eligible for a whole bunch of “freebies” immediately.

Many of the Syrians are being imported as ‘Refugees’ and are immediately entitled the benefits of the welfare state - housing, food stamps, monthly allowance, etc.

Fearing deportations, Mexico warns its citizens in the U.S.
LA Times ^ | 2/10/17 | Patrick McDonnell et al / FR Posted by markomalley

The much-publicized deportation of an immigrant who had been living illegally in Arizona prompted the Mexican government on Friday to urge its nationals in the United States to “take precautions” amid a “new reality” for the immigrant community.

The expulsion of Guadalupe Garcia de Rayos, a Mexican citizen and mother of two U.S.-born children, “illustrates the new reality of the Mexican community living in the United States in the face of more severe application of migration controls,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The ministry urged its citizens to “stay informed about immigration matters”’ and keep in touch with the extensive Mexican consular network in the United States. However, Mexican authorities acknowledged there is little they can do to slow deportations or counter other get-tough immigration policies of President Trump. (Excerpt) Read more at latimes.com ...

Thanks.

My wife heard of a liberal couple wanting to run to Mexico.

Since, they weren’t retired, besides the pot of cash, they needed over $5,000 per month in net Income.

Also, they had to pay for any medical and legal costs, which is why as you noted, they needed $100k in a bank.

Why are there so many heartbreaking stories about illegal aliens in the news?

The news media are dishonestly attempting to sway public opinion (57%)

Trump’s policies are harming immigrant communities (43%)

So does Barack Soreto and a fake SS#...remember the old man that died in CT. he wasn't old enough to go on SS so Soreto’s Aunt that made the ‘fake’ birth certificate in Hawaii and then died in a ‘plane crash’...

So Barack Soreto needs to be kicked out of the Country, and take that phony Wookie with you...the kids, since they are not theirs, put them in a Foster home somewhere in the Canary Islands...

The welfare benefits being received by immigrants is in many cases more money than they could make in their countries of origin,,,

Thanks for your feedback. Very interesting.

So the American born baby is the key. I've heard there are all kinds of tricks for eligibility.

Went to the Washington Dept. Social Services once with my stepson and they handed me a two page paper, both sides, with things I might be eligible for. All kinds of things, aid to the blind, housing, emergency cash, . . I was amazed and it was as if they were trying to get me to take advantage of it.

Told them I was there with my stepson and they backed off. He did get some temporary help, but it was like pulling teeth for him.

Regarding refugees, another reason to put the kibosh on this Syrian/ME refugee business. If I'm a 'refugee' I get up to 7 years free ride right off the bat. Just great. .

Such a highly intelligent man. It would be of no surprise to find he has trained himself to be ambidextrous. Certainly plenty of paper work needing to be signed, he could use both hands and never complete the task.

Especially when a criteria for entry is promising to not be a burden on the state.

I’ve heard many stories over the years that people come here illegally, sign up for benefits and have them mailed to a relatives house. Then they move back to their country of origin and have their benefit check sent there (where they live like kings.)

A welfare state with inlimited immigration is doomed to fail. There is no incentive to work and an unlimited burden on the economy.

I’d *LOVE* to see an E.O. reference and defend the 5th and 13th Amendments. Let them choke on that one for a bit.
