I think every soldier who died in Iraq died in vain seeing how the “occupation” and Iraqi government was a disaster. After all said and done , what did American get out of it? Obama shat it all away for political gain, left and media beat it down until the narrative “Bush’s Vietnam”, “blood for oil” etc. was solidified. The Iraqi’s still hate our guts. ISIS is a nightmare. Would the Mideast be better off with Saddam Husein/Baathist’s party still in power let alone any other dictator such as Kadafi? Hindsight can be quite sobering.
