"Trump Campaign Aides had Repeated Contacts with Russian Intelligence" Oh Really?
The New York Times ^ | February 14, 2017 | Michael S. Schmidt

WASHINGTON — Phone records and intercepted calls show that members of Donald J. Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and other Trump associates had repeated contacts with senior Russian intelligence officials in the year before the election, according to four current and former American officials.

American law enforcement and intelligence agencies intercepted the communications around the same time they were discovering evidence that Russia was trying to disrupt the presidential election by hacking into the Democratic National Committee, three of the officials said. The intelligence agencies then sought to learn whether the Trump campaign was colluding with the Russians on the hacking or other efforts to influence the election.

The officials interviewed in recent weeks said that, so far, they had seen no evidence of such cooperation.

That’s how we got over the election fraud allegations. When a real investigation was begun, it showed up democrat cheating so they said never mind.

Do the same with this. This “anonymous sources” crap needs to stop. And Obama’s people need to all be canned. Start over from scratch.

I don’t know about Townley, but it sounds to me like Flynn had to go regardless of whether there was any pressure put on the Trump administration. The more I read about him, the more I wonder how he ended up in such a sensitive position in this administration in the first place.

wasn’t this story already beat to death by everyone in 2016 ? Why is this presented as if it’s new ?

Why is the media not interested in the efforts of Mexico to get Hillary elected. Is that not something the media should be looking at as well? That is a foreign nation interfering with out elections.

“Former officials means Obama people. They were spying on Trump campaign”

Yep, the Watergate scenario. I hope AG Sessions goes deep to root out everything Obama and Hillary got their paws into during the campaign. It would be a great day to see both of them in the Federal Pen.

Trump needs to purge these Obama holdovers quickly.?

They are not holdovers but career bureaucrats who are very hard to remove. The federal bureaucracy has been politicized. They support the party of big government, not the one favoring limited government.

These are VERY VERY SERIOUS accusations. In fact, SOOOOOO serious as to warrant an investigation of the New York Times.

Simply put, the American people must SEE and KNOW of this EVIDENCE.

And, should it NOT exist? Hmm, then the NYT might be sued out of business and be considered a treasonous group of mongrols that need to be put down by any legal means...

I believe I distinctly remember a former President getting into a whole lot of trouble for spying on the opposition campaign -— now what was the name of that hotel???

My recent suggestions:

@realDonaldTrump Not sure WHO the leakers and backstabbers are? Start firing the top bureaucrats in NSA, FBI, CIA, State until it stops!!!

@realDonaldTrump Put the leakers & traitors in jail. No Mercy, President Trump - they will take you out in a heartbeat unless you move first

@realDonaldTrump Find some young eager beaver patriot at security agency of your choice - turn him/her loose to find leakers. Repeat, repeat

@realDonaldTrump Turn each backstabbing government/establishment mole into an inmate no matter WHO they think they are - worthless swampRATS

@realDonaldTrump Hire Flynn as a private government contractor to investigate & locate leakers & political saboteurs -he has the motivation!

Indeed! The Obama administration was being very Nixonian. That phrase will make the MSM froth at the mouth.

I bet you one American dollar that if President Trump puts his mind to it, it will be very easy.

PATCO. Ronald Reagan.

As someone who spent 36 years as a federal employee, you couldn’t be more wrong.

The PATCO crew openly broke federal law by going on strike. That’s why it was easy to cut them loose, it didn’t require much documentation to make the firing stick. Reagan warned them that he would enforce the law and they went on strike anyway.
