Before the national teachers unions, school boards had morals clauses built into teachers contracts.
We could go back to those days. There should not be any unions for public employees.

Smaller schools would help too... that way it’s ‘teachers working WITH parents - NOT teachers ganging up with each other against parents and their kids.
And yes, that does happen.
Smaller schools are one of the few ‘experiments’ shown to work... to assist with educating students - - especially important in poor neighborhoods...

Yes and teachers were not even to be seen in a bar. Our country school had that through the 1990s, not sure about now.
