Smaller schools would help too... that way it’s ‘teachers working WITH parents - NOT teachers ganging up with each other against parents and their kids.
And yes, that does happen.
Smaller schools are one of the few ‘experiments’ shown to work... to assist with educating students - - especially important in poor neighborhoods...

Yes, smaller schools generally work better.

Bullashit.
Back when I was a teacher (aeons ago when dinosaurs roamed the Earth), we didn't talk about students that way. We were not their peers (or their friends) and they most emphatically were not our peers.
Teachers who view students as potential sexual conquests need to be torn out root and branch.

Before the national teachers unions, school boards had morals clauses built into teachers contracts. We could go back to those days. There should not be any unions for public employees. Now THAT'S something I totally agree with.

You do not have and cannot expect to have a right to privacy in a public venue, if these cretins wanted to have a perverted discourse about the children entrusted to their care while having an alcoholic circle jerk they should have gone to one of their homes. But then maybe they knew that their families would also have been disgusted.
There are many things in life that are legal, that does not preclude them from being ethically or morally repugnant to a significant majority, but I guess you have no problem with people entrusted with the care and education of your children behaving this way.

Yes and teachers were not even to be seen in a bar. Our country school had that through the 1990s, not sure about now.
