Phone records and intercepted calls show that members of Donald J. Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and other Trump associates had repeated contacts with senior Russian intelligence officials in the year before the election, according to four current and former American officials.

The officials said the intercepted communications were not limited to Trump campaign officials, and included other associates of Mr. Trump. On the Russian side, the contacts also included members of the Russian government outside of the intelligence services, the officials said. All of the current and former officials spoke on the condition of anonymity because the continuing investigation is classified.
"Officials would not disclose many details, including what was discussed on the calls, which Russian intelligence officials were on the calls, and how many of Mr. Trump’s advisers were talking to the Russians. It is also unclear whether the conversations had anything to do with Mr. Trump himself."

Yes, further down (of course) in the article it says that investigators have as yet found no evidence of any cooperation for the campaign between the Trump campaign and the Russians. A non-story, at least at this point.
Stop these leaks.
Arrest the leakers.

Probably Obama admin officials who already left and took classified information with them.
They think they can create turmoil leaking this stuff but chaos and confusion only help Trump.
Now we all know the purpose of those NSA phone collection centers. They are a political armory of weaponized data collection.
This is going down like a pack of pit bulls after a rat terrier. The outcome isn’t going to be pretty. The sooner Trump unleashes his rottweilers (like Sessions, Giuliani, Cruz, & etc.) on their asses the better.

If we get together w/ Putin and get rid of ISIS, McCain, Graham and all the old guard that have a perpetual interest in wars in the middle east are toast. Go over to The CTH and the article about the Reform Agents vs. the Authentic Supporters within Islam, I suspected McCain was involved in all this, I am pretty convinced now he is.
Here’s the problem. They can make up anything they want, and it will be believed by many. The foundation has been laid.
At a bare minimum, the next shoe to drop will be Flynn had been in contact with the Russians long before the election.
Even if Trump avoids impeachment, the GOPe will own him.
The coup is clearly underway IMO.
Gen. Flynn would be a good resource for ferreting out the rogue Obama intelligence operatives. Is he allowed to help?

None of these stories hurt Trump. This losers are so antiquated with their threats against Trump.
Trump supporters are fine that Flynn resigned. WE DO NOT CARE. Flynn was never our first pick to begin with. NEXT.
Trump can hire and fire whoever he needs to. Not many can keep up with Trump's standards and work ethic.

Because these leaks are illegal, the Trump administration should call each of these claims non-sense, and not respond to them.
If the transcripts of the contacts are released, the admin should de-legitimize the sources and refute deny the accuracy. Right now, our intel community has declared war on the Trump admin.
Purge our intel communities now. The swamp is not going down without a fight.
