Rhinestone Country eventually morphed into the radio format today known as Hot Country. Years ago I did the Fathers of Hot Country songwriters at the weekend Canteen.

By 1988 the format and sound of Hot Country had come into its own, although you could hear it making its way to the foreground during the early to mid-Eighties.

“Which new artist must go?” And they list Carly Simon? No way! She had a great voice. And was easy on the eyes too.

There was a lot of good music in the 70s. The Who, Quadrophenia, for example.

And a lot of crap.

My back was injured both high and low in a car wreck several years ago. I can still dance a little but I’d better not have anything planned for the next few days.
With all the kittehs we have and I need to take care of each day, dancing at all has had to come to a halt. :-(
