U.S. immigration officers have arrested more than 680 people in recent operations, 75 percent of whom have been convicted of crimes, Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly said on Monday, referring to actions that have sparked alarm among immigrant rights advocates.

Kelly said in a statement that crimes committed by the illegal immigrants ranged from homicide to driving under the influence of alcohol.

He said the operations were routine and consistent with regular operations carried out by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Immigration advocates have said they are raids that do not take into account an immigrant's threat level or family ties to the United States.

President Donald Trump promised to deport 2 million to 3 million migrants with criminal records on taking office.

Former President Barack Obama also targeted criminal migrants for deportations, but his administration did not consider low-level offenses such as driving under the influence of alcohol to be a deportable offense.

“When we hit 10 million, we’ll be at a 25% success rate.”

As soon as the first brick is layed, they will be going back to their home countries by the thousands. I would actually do a Merkel and offer families money to go home and get on line. More people in your family more money you get. Send at least 5 million home that way. At 5K a pop that’s 25 billion. We’ll get that back in lives saved from the cartels moving their product in.

Let’s do some math.

A 747 configured for a single class of passenger can hold almost 650 people. 20 747’s leaving every day means that 13000 people a day can fly. That means over the course of 350 days, 4,500,000 people can be departed. I am being over generous since it is estimated that 1.7 million passengers fly each day. Newark alone flies about 90,000 passengers a day.

Theoretically, with the right incentive, in less than a year, we can fly 11 million illegals out of the US for a cost of around 50 billion dollars. Figuring from this we will save between 75-100 billion (Trump says 113 billion) we come out ahead of the game.

How much would it cost if we just used cattle trucks?

Under the right circumstances, most will self-deport. Eliminate state and federal welfare and enforce E-verify. No freebies and no work will force them to go home. Gang members are a different story. They feed on the innocent and drug addicts.

Pathetic.

Time to ramp it up dramatically, Kelly. If you can’t get the job done, resign and let someone else who can.

So what we’ve caught 3 ants from the anthill, big deal.

Haul them off in a C-130.
